Catch up!

What a slacker, I love reading everyone's blogs but I slack off on our own. I started the blog to document the kids and keep in touch with our family and friends that are not close by so, here we go.
Chett's 1st birthday.

New Easter Duds.

We went to Preston for the annual Easter party. Fun with cousins, great dinner and games, and one awesome hunt.
Olivia's preschool graduation. Livy had a fun preschool year with some good friends. She is now going to start kindergarten this fall. She is excited and so ready to get on the big bus with the big kids.

Isabel and Olivia danced in the Downtown Dance Recital. They loved dance all year and both did a good job shaking their booties.

For Memorial Day we took the kids to Bear World, it was such a nice day and the kids ripped around and checked everything out in record time.

A year goes so fast

We were bringing home this sweet guy one year ago. He was such a happy and content baby. I guess he had to be good, it seemed he lived in his carseat with being the youngest of 4. He had to go to baseball, school, dance practices, barrel races, and everything else that was starting in the spring. We are blessed to have him in our home, he is a loved little guy.

February so far,

We have had the daily running with dance, gym, school, preschool, scouts, church, throw in a school carnival. I can't believe the month is more than half way gone.

For Valentines, eight couples got together for dinner at the Lindsay's and then we all went to the Senior Citizens Dance with a live country band. It turned out to be so much fun. Megan had the bang up idea. The dinner was so yummy, everyone brought something to eat, but Nicole needs a big shout out for the awesome main dish. Julia had a fun game, you had to write three things that you love about your spouse without your name and then she read them and you had to guess who wrote it and who it was about. I laughed way too hard. The dance was totally senior citizens, Rulon had to pick up a couple that was two-stepping that fell clear down, but they were good sports. The night was more fun than I expected it would be. Let's do it again.

Cody left on Saturday to go to a race in Louisiana, it is a big one-I'll update, but only if he does good.

Two Brothers

Chett fell asleep sitting on Keller's lap. You can tell that Chett is pretty comfotable just being with big brother.

January came and went!

Well, this month Cody and I celebrated our 15th anniversary. We went to Phoenix to a race and it was perfect! Chett flew down with me and was good as gold for the trip. The weather was so nice and Cody's horses did good. We accidently left the camera at the security desk at the airport and after 5 calls to Lost and Found and no return calls, Cody is starting to get a little hot.
We also took Keller to a Jazz game this month, I have to bum some pictures from Becky to post. After watching LeBron, Keller has been dunking his imaginary ball all over the house.
Cody is on his way back down to Arizona with his Dad this time for another race. I was going to weasel Brian's airplane ticket away from him so I could go back down but I never got up the nerve. Hopefully when they fly back in he can grab someone at the airport by the collar and find our camera.

Olivia is 5!

Olivia turned 5 on December 30th. We took her pre-school carpool buddies to the pool for some swimming and cupcakes, then we met Grandma and Grandpa at Red Lobster for dinner.

She is such a funny girl, some things we laughed at this month is she asked for a Jesus Farm Set for Christmas, it took a little bit until we realized she was asking for a nativity. She also sang about a reindeer named Honker. She would sing, "You know Dasher, Dancer, Honker, and Blitzen."

Santa is coming to town again

At the Hyde family party, the jolly old man showed up again. Cody's Mom had sent an elf to watch the kids during the month of December and he was going to tell Santa if the kids had been naughty or nice. Each grandchild sat on Santa's lap and he knew a naughty deed and a nice deed they had done during the month. It was so fun because some of the kids totally denied the naughty and some were shocked that Santa knew what they had been up to and fessed up.

Keller had argued during the month but was also such a good helper to his Mom.

Isabel had been a little mean to Olivia but she also always tries her best at whatever she does.

Olivia had sucked on her fingers but the elf Grandma had sent was sneeking into her room at night and putting yucky stuff on her fingers to help her stop.

Chett sometimes poops in his pants but he is sure happy about it. Chett didn't think Santa was all that hot either.

Each person was supposed to bring a wrapped present that represented why they love Christmas. Some were Christmas treats, music, family, and Keller got the barbie because cousin Chloe loves to get barbies at Christmas.

All the Keller (Grandma Hyde's maiden name is Keller) cousins.
